We just got back from a quick trip to Great Falls...Maya had her final appointment with her developmental optometrist, Dr. Stibel! He says that she has made so much progress, that she no longer needs to come in for follow-ups. We were so excited to get that news...it's been a long journey for Maya, and we are so proud of her. We stayed at the new hotel with a water slide. The kids swam and slid for two straight hours! They were exhausted...today Maya had an appointment with her occupational therapist, Ashley Williams. Maya adores Ashley! And...Ashley adores Maya...they do tons of fun work together. Today was all about primitive reflexes...very interesting...it was from the work of Svetlana Gustanova, a Russian therapist...Rob and I got to join in on the fun today as well. We did some school shopping...Cole bought some new transformers (that's his current "thing")...we stuffed our faces at the Macaroni Grill and then hurried home to hug our doggies! Wow Maya! What a lot of hard work and progress you have made. How lucky for Dr. Stibel and Ashley to get to know you. You are absolutely amazing. It sounds like you had fun at the hotel and swimming. Love you tons and tons, Grandma Terry
